Tangle Ball, at the Parker River National Wildlife Refuge, Newburyport, Massachusetts. What is a tangle ball? I had to look this up, but it seems to be a gathering of twigs, seaweed, and other debris, “woven” by the ocean waves. I spotted this particular one on a visit to Parker River National Wildlife Refuge in late autumn.
