I grew up in Connecticut where we did have rural. We had old barns, country roads, and family farms, but it was in Vermont where I fell in love with taking photos of barns that were falling down, old tractors still working hard in the fields, and cows… lots of cows.
Although I don’t stop on my drives at every compelling barn I see by the side of the road anymore, I do still enjoy exploring these scenes when I can, sometimes from the outside, sometimes from in.
Photography and digitally altered photos of barns, farm scenes, hay bales, vintage wagons; settings and tools of rural life, mostly in New England.
